  • Allegheny Family Network
    • Provides peer support, education and advocacy for families who have children with mental health needs. Their offerings also include employment and housing support services, support groups, childcare services, etc. All AFN employees are family members with lived experience of having a child who has behavioral health needs.

  • Youth Move PA
    • A statewide youth and young adult advocacy organization that seeks to decrease mental health stigma. Their programs include educational and training opportunities for youth, young adults, and professionals offered in-person or virtually.

  • Goodwill Single and Custodial Father’s Network
    • Provides education, support groups, advocacy, mentoring, and referrals for single fathers in Allegheny, Armstrong, and Westmoreland Counties

  • The Pittsburgh Promise
    • The Pittsburgh Promise promotes high educational aspirations among urban youth, funds scholarships for post-secondary access, and fuels a prepared and diverse regional workforce.
    • To qualify for The Pittsburgh Promise scholarship, students must:
      • Be enrolled in Pittsburgh Public Schools*, or one of its charters, continuously, since 9th grade
      • Be residents of the City of Pittsburgh or Wilkinsburg, continuously, since 9th grade
      • Graduate from a PPS high school with a minimum cumulative, unweighted grade point average of 2.50 and an attendance record of 90% or above
      • Graduate from high school in, or before, 2028.
